Participation Guidelines

Please read carefully and strictly follow the rules for a smooth convocation experience.

Hamdard University Bangladesh Campus
Reporting Time
09:00 AM – 10:00 AM (Strict)
Rehearsal
10:00 AM – 11:30 AM (Mandatory)

  • Only verified/registered graduates may participate in the ceremony.
  • Entry is allowed only with a valid Graduate Pass and successful identity verification.
  • Guests must carry Guest Passes at all times. Entry without a pass is not permitted.

  • Graduates must report between 09:00 AM – 10:00 AM at the Main Gate / Verification Desk.
  • Late arrival may result in denial of entry.

  • Rehearsal session (10:00 AM – 11:30 AM) is mandatory.
  • Follow volunteer instructions for seating arrangement, stage movement, and degree receiving procedure.
  • Missing rehearsal may cause seating or participation restrictions.

  • Wearing the official academic gown is mandatory during rehearsal and ceremony.
  • Graduates should wear formal attire under the gown.
  • Recommended: comfortable formal shoes.

  • Graduates and guests must sit in their designated seats by 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM.
  • Entry may be restricted after this time.
  • Do not change seats unless instructed by volunteers.

  • Keep mobile phones on silent.
  • Maintain discipline during speeches and degree conferment.
  • Photography must follow university instructions.
  • Do not block aisles, stage paths, or emergency exits.

  • Maximum guests allowed: 4
  • Kids allowed: up to 30 inches (approx. 3 years)
  • Guests must carry valid guest passes and follow instructions.

  • The University reserves the right to modify the schedule if necessary.
  • The University may enforce verification rules and restrict entry for policy violations.

  • Graduate pass + guest passes
  • Academic gown (official)
  • Comfortable formal shoes
  • Mobile phone (silent mode)
  • Arrive early to avoid last-minute crowd
